McFly singer Danny Jones has been crowned the winner of the 2024 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, securing victory after weeks of intense challenges and public voting. The final, aired Sunday on ITV, saw Jones triumph over runner-up Coleen Rooney and third-place finisher Reverend Richard Coles.

Visibly emotional, the 38-year-old musician thanked his supporters, saying, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I gave my all in there, gave myself, and it’s a lovely feeling to be liked.” The victory marks a triumphant year for Jones, who also won ITV’s The Masked Singer earlier in 2024.

Runner-up Rooney expressed her admiration for Jones, calling him the perfect finalist companion. The wife of football legend Wayne Rooney added, “Knowing that I have made it to the final makes me proud. I’m a proud mum, I’m a proud wife, I’m a proud daughter.”

Jones praised his campmates as “unbelievable,” emphasizing the bonds they formed during the challenging series. “I’ve had some of the hardest times I’ve ever had, and some of the highest of highs,” he told hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

The final trials tested the endurance of the last three contestants as they competed to win a three-course meal for their last night in the jungle. Reverend Coles, known for his humor and deep reflections throughout the series, said his time on the show was tougher than expected but deeply rewarding.

Other notable campmates included professional dancer Oti Mabuse, actor Alan Halsall, boxer Barry McGuigan, and TikToker GK Barry. Late arrivals, including Love Island star Maura Higgins and Reverend Coles, added excitement to the camp dynamics.

The season also saw its share of dramatic exits. Tulisa Constostavlos, former X Factor judge, left under unexpected circumstances, later citing mental health challenges. Meanwhile, radio presenter Melvin Odoom bid farewell with warm reflections on his jungle friendships, while Barry McGuigan expressed disappointment at missing the famous Celebrity Cyclone challenge.

The series, described as relatively harmonious, was highlighted by surprising friendships, including the bond between GK Barry and Reverend Coles. Reflecting on their connection, Coles humorously noted, “I don’t know what a bromance is between a 62-year-old gay man and a 25-year-old lesbian, but whatever it is, we’re having one.”

This year’s I’m A Celebrity proved to be another memorable season, blending moments of humor, resilience, and camaraderie, with Danny Jones emerging as a deserving winner.
